Reader:- Jill Lamède

The programme, drawn from the 16th and 17th centuries, usually includes music by Dowland and Holborne with poetry by Shakespeare, Spencer, Donne and Marvell, amongst others.
During the performance the artists talk about the programme and instruments, creating an atmosphere of intimacy and audience involvement.
The duration and content of the programme can be adjusted to meet specific requirements and a variety of ages. The performance is suitable for schools, colleges, music societies and arts centres. Opportunities for questions will be given.
Jill Lamède and Brian Wright have performed regularly together since their first joint concert in 1984.
