The answer to all these questions is:
The
Tintagel Dragon did it!

Kaylie was visiting her family's old home, The King's Head at Five Lanes on Bodmin Moor, when she met author, Jill Lamède.
That chance meeting led to a collaboration that gave Kaylie an opportunity to make an exceptionally early start on her chosen career as an illustrator of children's books.
Jill Lamède, also known as the Tintagel Storyteller, was in the final stages of writing her latest book, Tales of the Tintagel Dragon. Sitting at the bar, Kaylie quickly drew some pictures of dragons on scraps of paper - and Jill knew she had found the perfect illustrator for the book.
Quotes:
Kaylie said: I have always wanted to be an
illustrator. This is a wonderful opportunity for me. I love the stories.
I keep on reading them, they are that good.
Jill said: Kaylie is very talented indeed.
I was lucky to find her. It has amazed me how hard she has worked.
The book was launched on the 24th April 2003
at The National Trust's Old Post Office in Tintagel.
